BBC News features The Friendly Bench™

It's been a very exciting time over at The Friendly Bench CIC, a few weeks ago BBC East Midlands visited The Friendly Bench at Bottesford to make a film about our work and also our news of our National Lottery funded network expansion.

Since the film was aired, Lyndsey has also been invited onto BBC East Midlands Sunday Politics show to talk further about The Friendly Bench with MP's Dr Luke Evans and Alex Norris. Following that, BBC News featured The Friendly Bench on their website and Facebook page, to date this has been liked over 11k times, shared 4.4k times and watched over 503k times!

Of course, all of this fabulous publicity has generated lots of interest and now we are busy replying to everyone. There is some more exciting news on the horizon too, so watch this space...
